Well, off on some travels again, this time to the South Island of New Zealand for the scenery and to catch up with family.
The house is all cleaned for the housesitter who will look after the 23 year old cat, the suitcases are pretty well packed and we will be off at first light tomorrow.
Maybe Mt Cook will be kind and show its face this time. I have packed the DSLR and the wide angle lens as well as the tripod and various filters so maybe I will capture creamy waterfalls and icy glaciers. Or I might default to the less technical but very neat point and shoot because it is so light to carry. We shall see.
